Sarah is a registered psychologist and clinical psychologist registrar currently working in perinatal mental health. She has a special interest in supporting clients with eating disorders during the perinatal period.
Sarah offers comprehensive support to clients throughout their conception, birthing, and parenting journey with a non-judgmental, compassionate, and reflective approach. She incorporates a variety of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and attachment-based models such as Circle of Security approaches.
Her areas of expertise span across the lifespan, with particular focuses on perinatal mental health (postnatal only), grief and loss, eating disorders, body image concerns, chronic health problems including chronic pain and endometriosis support, life transitions and stress, women’s health issues, fertility counselling, donor sessions, as well as assessment work, including cosmetic and bariatric assessments and other psychological assessments.
Sarah is a registered Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) facilitator and a provisional member of the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association (ANZICA). Additionally, she is a credentialed eating disorder clinician with ANZAED and has completed Perinatal Non-directive Counselling training, enabling her to offer appointments under Non-directive Pregnancy Support Counselling referrals.
